Twitter Trolls FB & WhatsApp Owner Mark Zuckerberg As He Joins Rival Messaging App Signal
WhatsApp may be the most popular and most used messaging platform but due to the some controversial changes that it is going to make in terms and condition of use with effect from May 15, 2021, many users have transferred themselves on other messaging platforms such as Telegram and Signal.
However a revelation which is in connection with the owner of WhatsApp and Facebook, i.e., Mark Zuckerberg has left many people surprised and shocked. As per a report in a leading daily, recently the data of 533 million Facebook users was compromised and it also included 6 million Indian Facebook users.
The personal details and the phone numbers of these users were published on the forum of hackers and the data of some bigshots such as Facebook co-founders Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz also got leaked.

The personal data of Mark Zuckerberg such as his birth date, mobile number, Facebook ID, marriage details, etc. also got leaked and when the cyber/Internet researcher Dave Walker used his phone number to find out whether the WhatsApp owner is on Signal or not, he found that Mark Zuckerberg has registered himself on the rival messaging platform.
In another turn of events, Mark Zuckerberg also respects his own privacy, by using a chat app that has end-to-end encryption and isn't owned by @facebook

Soon, it was noticed by the rival company Signal and it took a jibe at its competitor by stating that he is leading by example as 15th May is approaching fast.
Signal wrote, “With the May 15th WhatsApp Terms of Service acceptance deadline fast approaching, Mark leads by example”.

As soon as netizens noticed the tweet, they started reacting on the matter. While many made fun of Mark Zuckerberg for being on Signal, some other said that it is not new that Mark Zuckerberg is using his competitor’s product as he likes to keep a tab on the competition.
Here are some selected reactions:

He doesn't trust his own communication networks like whatsapp

Not entirely surprising. He’s long been known to use competitor services. I remember he joined Google Plus when it launched. Seems smart to check out your competitors.

I never expected this and after what happened, it is not surprising that, despite the fact that Facebook fights tirelessly against Apple, Zuckerberg uses an iPhone and / or Apple products.

Nobody but he knows for sure why, but assuming that the boss of a multi-billion dollar company is watching the competition by using their app doesn’t sound very likely to me.

A big reason is maybe because they can still reach you via WhatsApp.
You'll get people over when you stop using WhatsApp and the only way they can reach you is through Signal or Phone calls.— Unscripted Poet (@UnscriptedPoet) April 6, 2021
Are you on Signal or will you keep on using WhatsApp after 15th May also?
