Sheldon Cottrell’s salute celebration has been trending in the ongoing World Cup 2019. West Indies left-arm pacer’s way to pay tribute to the Jamaican Defence Force (JDF).

If you aren’t following this year’s cricket world cup, then you are definitely missing out of something great and might not be aware of Sheldon’s victory celebration.

West Indies left-arm pacer gave an epic reply to Indian seamer Mohammed Shami for mocking Sheldon’s way of celebration after picking up wickets. During India vs West Indies match on Thursday after the Windies cricketer was dismissed by Yuzvendra Chahal in the 30th over of the innings.

Virat Kohli and Sheldon Cottrell were spotted imitating the victory salute of Sheldon. Shami was seen marching with the salute whereas Indian captain Virat Kohli was caught imitating the celebration where Cotrell imitates the explosion.

Sheldon Cottrell took to his twitter handle to express his opinion on the banter and also praised the terrific bowling done by team India. He wrote in Hindi, Great fun! Great bowling. Nakal Karna Hi Sabse Badi Chaploosi Hai (Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)
