Shane Warne Calls Don Bradman Greatest Sportsman On Twitter, Gets Trolled In Return
In a recent poll, the five greatest players in the history of cricket have been named.
The cricketers named in the post were Sir Don Bradman (100), Sir Gary Sobers (90), Sir Jack Hobbs (30), Shane Warne (27) and Sir Vivian Richards (25). Don Bradman was named as the greatest player because he was the only player to have received all 100 votes in the poll that was conducted over 9 countries.
Shane Warne was on the list too:
Shane Warne seemed delighted to have been named on the list. He retweeted the image and said, “And rightly so – the Don was the greatest sportsman that’s ever lived on the planet. Compare anyone from any sport, from any era with any calculations you want – he was the best. What an amazing honour it was to be voted with this amazing group of Sirs!”

Quite a sportsman, we say!
But Shane Warne’s status did not receive the appreciation that was expected. Instead, he got trolled. People started tweeting about who they thought was the greatest sportsman of all time. Check out some of the tweets below:

Here’s one for you. Heather McKay.
Played top level professional squash for Australia for over 20 years and only lost 2 games. At her retirement she had gone undefeated for 2 decades.

I can never understand why @jacqueskallis75 is not on all of these lists. Averages more with the bat in tests than Sachin, Lara, Dravid, Kohli, Ponting etc. and also has 292 test wickets @ 32. Add to that 200 catches also but he still seems to get forgotten in the list of greats!

23 Gold, 3 Silver, 2 Bronze, Ratings 146
The second best swimmer (Mark Splitz) got a ratings of just 56. Just shows how dominant MP was in Swimming.
