1. Mandira Bedi:

The first name that comes to our minds when we talk about hosting the cricket show is Mandira Bedi. The actress is one of the first female anchors and she hosted 2003 & 2007 ICC World Cups, 2004 & 2006 Champions Trophy and also the first two seasons of Indian Premier League.

2. Sanjana Ganesan:

Sanjana Ganesan started her career as a model and she started anchoring cricket matches from the year 2016 when she joined Star Sports. Since then, she has hosted many cricket tournaments including the 2019 ODI World Cup, 2020, 2021 & 2022 T20 World Cup, 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup and WPL 2023. Sanjana Ganesan is married to India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah who has been away from cricket due to injury.

3. Archana Vijaya:

Archana Vijaya became famous after winning the Get Gorgeous S1 of Channel V but her cricket anchoring career started in 2007 when she hosted Cricket Tadka Madke on NeoCricket. After that, she hosted IPL in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015 along with Shibani Dandekar and then she also hosted IPL 2017.

4. Shibani Dandekar:

The actress-model-singer is also an anchor who started anchoring cricket shows in 2011 when she hosted Extraa Innings with Archana Vijaya and she anchored the show till 2015. She was also the co-host of 2019 Cricket World Cup ceremony which she hosted along with Paddy McGuinness and former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff. Shibani Dandekar is married to director-actor Farhan Akhtar.

5. Mayanti Langer:

One of the most famous sports journalist and anchors, Mayanti Langer is active in this field since 2006. She hosted many tournaments such as 2011, 2015 and 2019 Cricket World Cups, IPL in 2018 and 2019, etc. She has also hosted the broadcast of FIFA World Cup 2010 for ESPN and she features regularly on Zee Sports.

6. Shonali Nagrani:

The former Femina Miss India 2003 started her career as a cricket anchor in 2006 Champions Trophy and then she also hosted 2007 World Cup, 2008 Extraa Innings and then she host four consecutive seasons of IPL starting 2011.

7. Tanya Purohit:

Before starting her career as a cricket anchor, she made her debut on Doordarshan and also played a small role in movie NH10. In 2021, she became a household name after she was included in the panel of IPL anchors of Star Sports.

This Indian TV Serial Shows A Woman Turning Into Spider Woman & Netizens Go WTF

The Indian serials are becoming more and more illogical day by day and it seems as if writers have stopped using their brain while writing scenes of serials. Gone are the days when makers used to bring back the person alive in a serial whom they have shown de*d in the earlier episodes, now they can show anything in the serial.

Some time back, we saw an actress jumping from terrace in order to save the lead actor and suddenly she gets to hold a very big kite with a metal frame and then she also holds the actor and saves him. There is also a whole series of Naagin which shows mongoose changing their form but a video is currently going viral on the Internet in which an actress is shown transforming into a huge spider and she also shoots webs in the same manner as spiderman.

The graphics are cringe and for some moments, you won’t be able to believe your eyes. In the video clip, Tobey Macguire and Tom Holland who have played the role of spiderman in Hollywood movies are seeing crying as someone else has taken away their roles and presented it in a pathetic manner.

Suniel Shetty Supports KL Rahul Amid Poor Form, Asks “Who Are These People Who Are Trolling?”

The Indian cricketer KL Rahul has been out of form for quite some time now and he has failed to get his touch back in the ongoing IPL 2023 as well which has given more ammunition to his haters and almost after every match of Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul gets trolled on social media platforms.

KL Rahul is married to actor Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty and now the “Hera Pheri” actor is not just a fan but a very strong supporter of his son-in-law. When Suniel Shetty is asked about KL Rahul’s poor form and trolling, he states that he knows about KL Rahul getting trolled but it doesn’t affect him much.

Suniel Shetty says that he has been trolled for his whole life as for many years, people called him a bad actor and it is a part of their profession because both he and KL Rahul are in such professions where public scrutiny is bound to take place.

The actor further states that KL Rahul plays for the country which is a big honour itself, in fact getting selected in the team is also a big honour. Suniel Shetty adds that there are highs and lows in everybody’s life but when a person comes home, family takes away all the stress. Gautam Gambhir’s Expressions Sitting With KL Rahul During LSGvsPBKS Sparks Meme Fest

Lucknow Super Giants is going pretty well in the IPL 2023 as it has won 5 matches out of 8 played by the team but yesterday’s victory was something else as LSG not only won the match by a big margin of 56 runs but it also made the second highest score of the IPL history.

LSG played its last match against Punjab Kings at Mohali and batted first after losing the toss. Though the skipper KL Rahul got out soon at the score of 12 runs (9 balls, 1 four  1 six), LSG batters Kyle Mayers (54 runs, 24 balls, 7 fours & 4 sixes), Ayush Badoni (43 runs, 24 balls, 3 fours & 3 sixes), Marcus Stoinis (72 runs, 40 balls, 6 fours & 5 sixes) and Nicholas Pooran (45 runs, 19 balls, 7 fours & 1 six) wreaked havoc on the PBKS bowlers and helped their team in posting a total of 257/5 on the scoreboard.

Chasing 258 was certainly a tough task and things turned ugly for PBKS very early as it lost the skipper Shikhar Dhawan at the score of 1 and the other opener Prabhsimran Singh also got dismissed soon at the score of 9. Atharva Taide (66 runs, 36 balls, 8 fours & 2 sixes) and Sikandar Raza (36 runs, 22 balls, 4 fours & 1 six) tried to give some fight but after they got dismissed, no other batter was able to make a big score and the whole PBKS team got out for 201 runs in 19.5 overs.

“Even My Country Didn’t Invest That Much On Me,” Andre Russell Takes A Dig At West Indies

Kolkata Knight Riders is having a tough time in the ongoing IPL 2023 as they have won only 3 matches out of 8 played by them and one of their biggest concerns is the poor form of their star player Andre Russell.

The 35 years old West Indian all-rounder, who was a part of the 2012 and 2016 World Cup winning West Indies teams, is an integral part of KKR since 2014 and he also admits that KKR holds a special place in his life. Though the explosive batter may not have been able to perform in this season, he has played many match-winning knocks for his team and taken wickets at crucial junctures for KKR.

Since 2019, Andre Russell has been facing knee problems and recently during a chat, the West Indian cricketer stated that few years ago when he was having knee problem, KKR arranged for his medical treatment and sent him to get properly treated. He further says that to be honest, it is something which is very special to him because no other franchise or even his country spent so much or invested so much on him. Many feel that with this statement, he has taken a jibe at the West Indian Cricket Board as last year he had a dispute with the board because the then head coach Phil Simmons claimed that there was no information regarding Andre Russell’s availability for the national team.

He further says that he is very happy in KKR and he doesn’t see himself playing for any other franchise as he has been playing for KKR for 9 years and every year, he gets closer to the franchise and people over here. He adds that even when the IPL is not being played, he is still in touch with Mr. Venky (Mysore) and he respects him a lot.

Andre Russell took two wickets against Royal Challengers Bangalore and helped his team in winning the match and fans and the team management are hoping to see him back in form with the bat as well.

“Unacceptable Behaviour,” Simon Doull Hits Out At Kagiso Rabada For Two No-Balls Vs LSG

The match against Lucknow Super Giants was no less than a nightmare for the bowlers of Punjab Kings as the former put up a huge score of 257/5 on the score board which is the second highest score of the IPL history. The match was played yesterday at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, and the skipper of PBKS Shikhar Dhawan chose to bowl first after winning the toss as the PBKS team management must have hoped that dew effect would be helpful for them in the later part of the match.

However, things didn’t go as per the plans of PBKS and the LSG batters ripped apart the opposition bowling. Some brilliant knocks were played by Kyle Mayers (54 runs, 24 balls, 7 fours & 4 sixes), Ayush Badoni (43 runs, 24 balls, 3 fours & 3 sixes), Marcus Stoinis (72 runs, 40 balls, 6 fours & 5 sixes) and Nicholas Pooran (45 runs, 19 balls, 7 fours & 1 six) which helped LSG in putting up the second 250 plus score in the history of the IPL.

What hurt PBKS more was the amount of extras given by their bowlers, leader of the Punjab franchise’s pace bowling, Kagiso Rabada bowled two no-balls and two wides. Gurnoor Brar also gave two no-balls but as Kagiso is a senior cricketer, he is expected to bowl in a better and more responsible manner.

The former Kiwi cricketer Simon Doull was very upset with Kagiso Rabada and he slammed the pacer after he bowled the second no-ball which he did in 16^th over which resulted in one extra run and a free hit for LSG.

Simon Doull states that such behaviour is unacceptable from an international player. He is of the opinion that Kagiso keeps pushing it all the time because even when he is behind the line, he is behind just by an inch.

PBKS fell short by 56 runs as the whole team got bundled up for 201 in 19.5 overs and LSG tasted their biggest win of the IPL.
